i'm not really sure what is term, but it is not unit price. what i mean is when you buy a fund with the unit price 0.25sen, your cost perunit is .25 sen for certain amount of unit.

say that you make additional unit, then your cost per unit would be average of your current unit that you hold. You got what i mean.

An agent can see all the details through their subscribed CAMS. But it is not detail appear in Public Mutual online. Can we as an investor know through Public Mutual Online our cost per unit (not unit price) without consulting agent ?

i got u now. this is call average price for per unt u have (either buy or accumulation by re-invest the dividedns.

very simple. average price = how much u invest / how any unit u have.

example.

1.u invest rm10,000 and u have 10,000 units.

unit price per unit = rm10,000 / 10,000 = rm1.00

2. got divedns and re-invest back. let say u got 1000 unit as diviededns

so, total unit u hv = 10,000 + 1000 = 11,000 units.

so, the average price = how much u invest / how any unit u have.

rm10,000 / 11,000 = rm0.909 per units.

3. u top up rm2,000, let say again u get 2,000 (assume u buy at rm1.00

so, the average price = RM10,000 + rm2000 / 11,000 + 2000
= rm12,000 / 13,000 units
rm0.92 per units.

in PM online u go to transaction details, ur AI amount + additional investment amount / all the units include DR.
= ur average price.
