If you guys are wondering why the file hosts are dropping like flies, it's because the US government is seizing servers and putting fear into competitors of Megaupload.

I tried making a post about this yesterday and it got deleted. But if you care anything about your rights on the internet and your role here at WBB.. whether it be an admin or mod role, you'll leave this up. The US government is acting now to take our rights away. And keep in mind, if you used Megaupload in the past for anything illegal, it's a guarantee the feds already know. It's all a matter of time before they decide to issue a nationwide or worldwide sweep. You can deny it or talk like you're safe "because they can't arrest every one of us" all day. But the simple truth is.. our government will stop at nothing to gain control over what we do. It's way deeper than you think. And it's coming now.

Now, before this post gets deleted for "breaking the rules", and I really don't see how it does, follow up on the group Anonymous on YouTube and spread the word everywhere you can. You'll see that they're fighting for our rights and freedom on and offline. Search SOPA, PIPA and ACTA on Google and tell me you aren't one bit concerned about what's going on behind our backs. The main reason for this post is to reach out to all active members on this forum so that maybe Anonymous and other groups can get your help to spread the word. Or if you have any help to offer them, join. There are 2 million+ users on this site. Why not become a big part of our defense?

This is the last post I'm going to make on this matter. I will probably be banned anyway. But at least make this public to your members to raise concern and give them a choice to help fight this or not. They have a right to know that their fun online will probably end soon, and that their activity on this site, or any other site, will probably soon be what puts them in prison if these bills and treaties get signed. We can't look at conspiracy as myth anymore. What I'm saying to you right now isn't a joke. You can see the signs of this come into play very rapidly. Look at Megaupload and Filesonic.

It's only a matter of time before Rapidshare and all the others get shut down. If you don't understand or believe what I'm saying, just look up the SOPA, PIPA and ACTA bills. After that, look up Anonymous on YouTube. Them and all the other hacktivist groups are the only hope we have left. Because they're actually doing something about it.

One of the moderators told me yesterday that this post may get deleted because of some kind of legal concern.

This site is very illegal in the first place. Don't think you're safe because you only host the links. Do research on Richard O'Dwyer and see if they showed any mercy on him just for "hosting links". He's taking his case to trial right now because he's facing 10+ years for doing the exact same thing as WBB.

Think about this - you wake up one day soon, decide you want to get a movie, open your web browser.. then BAM! WBB is gone and it has a huge logo plastered on the index page saying "Seized by the FBI for copyright infringement". There goes the database with information and IP addresses of EVERY user. Your host may be off shore and in a country you once thought had no piracy laws, but laws are changing and new treaties are being signed.

Like I said, at least run this by an admin to make them aware of what's going on. And if this post is approved, they can edit it to their liking. As long as everyone is aware.

Get ready and join the movement.
