My name is Muhamad Azree, I am the founder of rumahkontena.com. I am 25 years old and currently working as Software Engineer in Shah Alam by profession and Frelance Web Designer on free time. I have been living life renting others house since 2008 until 2014. And hopefully by 2015 it marks the end of renting and a freedom of space of living.

Your 1st question might be where the hell I get the money right?

So I actually made a personal loan to buy a land located at Kg Sijangkang, Selangor. It is 2400 sqft in area and cost me RM35,000. I made a tenure of 5 years for the loan and adding another sums of RM10,000 for the container and another RM10,000 for additional expenses to complete the project and furnish every bits possible.

And now I am considered as broke with such commitment every month. But to compare of renting that cost me RM300/month for 5 years, I will be wasting RM 18,000 within the period. Who wins? The owner of course.

Plus, buying a land is not a waste as it doesn’t deppreciate by time easily. It’s an asset and it’s mine now.

I can choose to buy a completed house or secondhand house around RM70,000 yet is it worth the effort and life quality? Well it is a very subjetive question and all answers given are correct to its justification. Your way of life is determined by you not by people who judge you. I am making a motion which is beyon typicality and I am ready to fail.

Since this trends are considered as new thing for Malaysian, I am trying my best in getting the right resources to empower the movement. There are many youngster that found this ideas as interesting despite some responding a big no.

I will be sharing the progress of my project under this category and looking forward for feedbacks from my reader.
