oh okay, apakah pendapat tuan2 tentang unit trust yang buat overseas investment? kalau unit trust tu based on overseas investment, adakah pasaran malaysia juga effect performance unit trust tersebut?

buy overseas is like buy currencies. Plus politic risk,It become very volatile. And my style, i more preferred local fund.

pasaran malaysia, overseas sumer akan effect unit trust performance. Some local fund although it is local, they stil have overseas exposure kerana diversification setup by fund manager and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) came in. PIOF,Pindex, Pindustry is the best example

The Annual return of the fund and NAV will be on negative side which is negative percent. In the other words, unit trust will record sharp drop but as long as investor stay within, it is unrealised or "on paper loss". Like aku post earlier, ia bole turn jadi profit balik when market has come back.

In our Quarterly Fund Review Report,1997-1998, Pittikal (aku amik as example) is negative percent..then 1999 -2000 on positive percent. 2001 drop balik (Perang Iraq, Virus Sars serang Asia)..2002 - 2007 on the positive note...Naik, Turun, Naik, Turun..It is common.

yap..setuju tuh..lagipun pelaburan PM ni bukan untukt short term, tapi untuk mid n long term....terutamanya yang invest guna EPF, takkan le kita nak guna EPF tu dalam jangka masa pendek kan..tujuan EPF dibenarkan invest pasal untuk hasilkan lebih keuntungan bebanding hanya terperuk dalam EPF sahaja..paling short pun, maybe 15 tahun-20 tahun,ru kita nak kuarkan pelaburan kita..time tu pasti keuntungan kita dah meningkat,so dapat tampung kos hidup bersara dengan EPF+ EPF yang dinvest+untung...

p/s: aku nampak dah future aku,so that why i want join PM UTC and invest

If you reveal your intended purpose..then trust me, nobody wil think twice to recruit you or regret thereafter..

waaa best gak bace thread nie.. aku last yer join PCIF.. itu pun sesaje je.. he he. masuk sket2 jek. tapi tgk tak naik2 pun.. but i think it's better then aku simpan kat bank aje.. So since aku pun buta kayu pasal Unit Trust nie.. cemane nak pilih fund untuk di invest ek? aku baca tread nie awal2 jek. nak bukak sume banyak sangat laa.. So tuan tanah yg berkaliber or otai2 financial consultant leh tak tunjuk jalan sket kat aku..
