Electric car maker Tesla has just announced that it will not pursue lawsuits against anyone who wants to copy its technology. Elon Musk is apparently moving to the next step for expanding the reach of electric, emission-free vehicles. Musk stated that “Tesla will not initiate patent lawsuits against anyone who, in good faith, wants to use our technology”; and has opened the floodgates for more electric cars to get on the road.”

Tesla has been trying the solve the problem of emissions from cars, and reduce the environmental impact of humans driving around. While the Tesla Roadster has been reasonably successful, it is still priced outside the range of the average consumer. Sparse charging stations have also prevented Tesla’s cars from becoming more widespread.

Musk wrote, Given that annual new vehicle production is approaching 100 million per year and the global fleet is approximately 2 billion cars, it is impossible for Tesla to build electric cars fast enough to address the carbon crisis.” He hopes that by sharing the patents with more manufacturers, there will be more electric cars built and reduce the number of petrol powered vehicles on the road.

On contrary,actually Tesla mengharapkan syarikat minyak yg akan amik peluang ni.Teknologi yg nak di share

ialah Supercharger technology,iaitu teknologi yg membolehkan kereta elektrik fully charged dlm masa 80 minit.

But still,80 minit adalah tempoh yg panjang.Tp,kalau ada byk stesen Supercharger yg dibuka,tak perlu la kereta elektrik

tu di charge penuh.Mungkin blh charge 10% je at any given time.So,kereta elektrik jadi mudah utk digunakan

dan membolehkan org ramai membeli kereta elektrik dan seterusnya meningkatkan pengeluaran kereta elektrik oleh
