Unlike other SUVs where weight blunts acceleration, the 417 lb-ft of torque from the 6.2 V8 fitted under the hood gets this Esplanade moving at a surprising pace for such a tall and heavy vehicle. This torque also makes the Cadillac Escalade 2WD a fantastic towing vehicle. The verdict? Well if you can afford to buy one, have room on your driveway to fit one and can buy the gas for one - then why not, an awesome truck!
