KUALA LUMPUR: KFC Malaysia has reintroduced the 'KFC Ayam Kicap Meletup' ahead of the coming festive season, due to high demand.

"Ayam Kicap Meletup was launched in June last year and due to its amazing response, we are bringing it back by popular demand.

"The unique yet familiar taste with a local twist - kicap and chili is what makes this product such a big hit with our fellow Malaysians," KFC Malaysia Senior Vice-President Ling Mee Jiuan said in a statement today.

'KFC Ayam Kicap Meletup' features KFC's signature chicken fried together with imported 'Shoyu' soy sauce, seaweed, chili flakes, sesame seeds and delectable spices.

In line with the Chinese New Year festival, KFC Malaysia also created a special side dish, a 'seaweed rice'.
