Seeing the world through the eyes of a child means being young again, full of life and hopeful expectations that age would otherwise cloud. If we could regain that perspective, we might be able to rediscover the world and see what we see and experience in a new light.

How everything began

Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, a father of two, urged his millions of Twitter followers from around the world to share their funny #kidquotes. Of course, it only took a few moments before he received a flood of replies.

Children can say the simplest things and be so adorable and funny at the same time. Their raw and unpredictable observations make parents nervous in large crowds, but they make the rest of us giggle for being so unabashedly honest.

An inventive kid

At some point we all find ourselves in a chaotic situation, a situation from which it seems impossible to escape without shame. But for this kindergartener, that moment came too soon. active child

The boy has promising cognitive abilities! He was able to think of an excuse when forced to fire from the hip. It might not seem so plausible to us adults, but he sure thinks he's escaped embarrassment, which boosts his confidence. You have to admit that was very clever for his age.

Uncomplicated Preference

It can be quite difficult to teach a child to develop good taste in various areas of life other than school. Parents have to spend time and money to give their children the right access. For many, this means hiring the best teachers in music, art, and literature. For others, it means traveling around the world.

Unfortunately, this child lacks authentic food preferences. Instead of appreciating the real lasagna of his homeland, he craved the preservative-laden frozen lasagna of his homeland, much to his parents' chagrin.

Trying to belong

This new teenager didn't understand what came to her mind when she first heard the question. For an inquisitive eight-year-old, that's certainly an odd question. She sounds like something an undercover officer would ask!

Of course, this eight-year-old wasn't a police officer. But her question just doesn't sound right for her age. We have a feeling she overheard her parents talking about her older sister growing up so fast. It sounds like she's repeating something her concerned father said.

At least he tried

A day out with a toddler can be both fun and annoying because they need constant attention. Screams may erupt at the slightest provocation, but nonetheless one is charmed by the child's cuteness, even if it only drools.

Toddlers may drool a lot, but they also say pretty funny things. This little boy tried to articulate how excited he was about certain things, but ended up saying something that sounded X-rated! Luckily, his parents were finally able to interpret his mumbling.

Etikett Among Boys

Children enjoy the kind of freedom that adults can only dream of. Totally uninhibited and genuine, even downright anarchic, this five-year-old caught his grandma's attention and scolded her. How does the child mind if it burps in the middle of a meal?

Not even the thought of a possible future date encouraged him to bother with social etiquette. He brushed the grandmother's question aside with a grin and a quick reply. Sometimes we hate it when kids behave like this, but secretly we wish we were free to do whatever we want.

It was 2016 and the young mother must have been born at least two decades earlier, in the 1990s. Back then, the Hubble Space Telescope was sent into the sky to do valuable research. The low-flying observatory circles beyond the rain clouds, capturing images of galaxies and planets.

Although technology was quite advanced in the '90s, this woman's child felt old with her black and white reference. It's funny to think that just a few years ago the world was a shade of grey, far from perfect. Children have no sense of time.

Stubborn determination

How we sometimes wish we had that 4-year-old's dogged determination to succeed, save to build a house or buy a new car. Somehow many of us have lost that spirit on our journey to adulthood and have become less hopeful and more jaded.

This kid reminds us of the unwavering desire to succeed that shows in their goal of one day catching Pokemon in real life. It's impossible, but how do you explain that to an innocent four-year-old?

character creation

Intelligence and creativity are evident from a very young age. These traits are evident in the way children interact with each other, how they invent games within games, and invent new characters that they draw from the forest of their uncharted imaginations.

But maybe this is a little different. The Dairy Queen must be the product of a misunderstanding, but what good things come with it - ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes and other goodies scattered around the table.
