Responsibilities:
-Designs and develops integrated solutions through tools, processes, and procedures to facilitate the cost effective delivery of collaborative and messaging services. Provides planning, analysis, and development of system upgrades and user interface design solutions to complex human factor problems. -Develops validation schemes and performs testing and integration and maintenance
-Escalates problem resolution of computer environments, systems, subsystems, and components
-Monitors, investigates, and resolves system operation issues in accordance with standard procedures; documents and communicates resolution. Tracks industry trends and technical developments
-Analyzes potential system investments and prepares supporting documentation for recommendation( s) to management and customers -Coordinates with external vendors on service delivery or incidents
-Performs the backup and restore of mailboxes
-Ensures SLA is constantly monitored and met
-Aligns with other global key organizations such as Service Desks, Service Delivery and Networking
Requirements:
-Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
-Minimum 3 years of IT experience supporting IBM Lotus Notes Domino Email and its applications and Remote email services (Blackberry, Traveller, iPhone), AS/400 or AIX platforms and/or minimum 3 years of IT experience supporting Middleware webservers (IBM Websphere, WebLogic, IIS, iPlanet, IBM http and Apache.
-At least 3 years experience in supporting at least 10,000 mailbxes
-Proficient in other Collaborative technologies proxy servers, mail gateways/ firewall/ filter, SMTP/ Domino LDAP servers etc. -Good Reporting and Communication skills
-Team Player
Wintel (Altris SOE/ Packaging/ Deployment) (Selangor)
>Provide desktop management support including the distribution of software packages, application packaging management, patch management, antivirus management, electronic inventory management, standard operating environment management.
>Analyze and report on account inventory data
>Perform corrective actions to maintain inventory penetration targets
>Test, activate, monitor and report software distribution activities
>Perform quality assurance through lab testing procedures and user acceptance testing
>Test, activate, monitor and report patch management activities
>Develop procedures and work instruction documents.
>Align with other global key organizations such as Service Desks, Service Delivery and Networking
Requirements:
>Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
>At least 3 years experience in SCCM and/or Altiris Client Management Suite.
>Experienced in Windows Update and other patch management tools
>Experienced in windows scripting, batch programming is an added advantage
>Good Reporting and Communication skills
>Team Player
>Skills would include knowledge of PC hardware, Application packaging experience, System Engineering experience, scripting experience, communications skills, management skills, Project Management, etc.).
