With lack of cues from related soybean oil we could see some profit taking emerge from recent price surge with day trade short position. Analisa Crude Palm Oil Futures (FCPO)29 SAFAR 1438 29/11/2016

Technical

Crude palm oil futures traded at Bursa Malaysia Derivatives rose for the sixth consecutive sessions as weaker Ringgit and a stronger soybean oil price on biofuel mandate, boosted the edible oil sentiment.

The benchmark third month February contract delivery rose another 1.48% or RM45 to settle at 3,077 ringgit per metric ton, its highest for most-active month since August 2012. Total volume traded recorded at 38,737 lots while open interest declined to 191,286 contracts from 192,807 contracts the previous trading day

Market action saw traders shrug off potential pull back to test and close above the daily Upper Bollinger band of 3,066

Medium to longer term chart is noted to have Buying crossover signal from 1000 days MA above 200 days MA indicating upside potential remains

RSI momentum however is at 72.1 on overbought zone might indicate pull-back in prices

With market hitting some overbought sign, caution is warranted for Long position holders on potential correction in market. However on slight longer term view, strong pull-back in price could serve opportunity for entering Long at support level subject to no adverse market news. Market next resistance target should upside continues set to 24th Nov day high 3,098 where break above could see 3,109 and more bullish target at 3,156 Pivot resistance level.
