Theme​

“Together, As One United People” is the theme for this year’s celebrations. It highlights the collective strength of our people and underscores the importance of every citizen rallying together to shape our future and uplift those around us.​

The theme encapsulates the essence of our Nation’s success and resilience. While the road ahead is uncertain, our strength lies within our diversity. It reflects the spirit of Inclusivity, Community and Trust that has enabled us to overcome and flourish in the last 59 years despite the challenges.

The NDP 2024 logo celebrates our achievements and our collective efforts towards making Singapore our best home.

Number "59" / Wording "SG"​

The number “59” and letters “SG” has been embedded into this year’s NDP 2024 logo, symbolising Singapore and our 59 years of independence.

The Five Stars​

The five stars represent Singapore's Ideals - democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality - and underscores our continuing efforts to build a fair and inclusive society.

The Six Strokes​

The six ascending strokes symbolise the pillars of Total Defence as we commemorate TD40 this year.

Our Official Logo: A Symbol of Unity​

The NDP 2025 logo captures the essence of who we are. Diverse, resilient, and always moving forward together.

It fuses “60” and “GO” into a single graphic mark, reflecting both our milestone and momentum. At its core, five shooting stars form an upward arrow, representing Singapore’s ideals of democracy, peace, progress, justice, and equality.

A visual rallying cry for all of us, to keep going.

Reimagining the Logo, Together​

In a first-of-its-kind initiative, 25 Singaporeans, from artists to athletes, educators to entrepreneurs reinterpreted the NDP logo through their own stories. Each variant reflects personal hopes, memories, and dreams for Singapore, turning a national symbol into a canvas of individual expression. Together, they form a portrait of who we are: many stories, one nation.

Designed to celebrate our 60-year milestone, the NDP 2025 logo is a bold expression of unity, motion, and national spirit. For the first time, 25 Singaporeans were invited to co-create.

This year’s theme is “Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!”.​

1. “Majulah Singapura” captures our Singapore Spirit and our enduring aspirations to keep moving forward and progress.
2. “Go Beyond!” is our call to action to do better for Singapore and Singaporeans, and to show care and concern for one another and our wider community.

This year’s logo features a fun and distinctive design that illuminates our theme: “Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!” as we celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday.

“61” Graphic​

The “61” represents 61 years of independence. The forward leaning “1” is seamlessly shaped as an arrow, a visualisation of our constant strive for progress and excellence.
