Job responsibilities:
To provide hands-on technical support roles
Job requirements:
• A recognized degree in Computer Science or similar
• Good working knowledge of the Windows Server operating systems
• At least 4 years working experience in providing 2
nd
level technical
support
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and some
experience in Oracle 10G database installation and configuration
• Strong database structure and querying skills with advance SQL and PL/
SQL scripting knowledge
• Hands-on experience in :-
1.Configuring SQL SSIS/Reporting Services
2.Team Foundation Server administration
3.Windows, database etc. patch and upgrade management
Installing and configuring of Windows and AIX boxes
• Have basic knowledge in SAN storage management, window clusters and
network infrastructure with the ability to perform basic trouble shooting
as needed
• The following knowledge will be an added advantage :-
1.Knowledge on application release management
2.BizTalk / C#
3.Application support process
• Experience in Oracle Report development
• Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to multi-task
and prioritize among a number of assignments
• Excellent formal and interpersonal communication and customer service
skills and the ability and desire to work in a collaborative team
environment.
• Demonstrates keen interest in continuous learning and professional
development.
• Must be self-motivated.
