Just sharing my experience.
I attend the briefing on Smart Kiosk by Water Drops on Jan 23, 2008 (Thaipusam)at Megan Avenue, Jln Yap Kwan Seng.
I'm a very careful person, but still the female consultant (Camellia) manage to convince me to join the business.
According to them:
1) Machine cost varied. But they gave me the RM41k price after discussion with manager
2) You can buy prepaid, bus ticket at the kiosk. They are planning to add Air-Asia, Cinema tickets facilities as well
3) You can monitor your machine activity through the website
4) You are the person responsible to take out the money every month from the kiosk and bank in to them
5) You'll get the money from advertisement on the body of the machine & also from the screen amounted to RM800 per month, which can be used to pay your personal loan
6) Income will vary between RM1k-3k, some even achieve RM6k per month
7) The company will do the maintenance, pay for the "sewa tapak"
8) The company have a target income, so we dont have to worry about the income we will get per month
9) We will get full loan & everything will be sort out by them
10) There are 2 plans. Plan A: Deposit at least RM500 and you'll get the machine around 1 month. Plan B: Deposit at least RM13k and you'll get the machine between 1-3 weeks.
11) You'll get RM3k per person if you recommend a friend who agree to join the business
I paid the RM1k deposit. Why did i agree to join the business:
1) They have the smart kiosk machine and the water dispenser machine displayed at the office. So i was convinced that the busines is legal since i've seen the water dispenser machine somewhere before
2) You'll get the money from the ad which could be use to pay your loan. Basically you're not taking anything out from your own pocket money
3) The company have a target income that will be shared with us
But the weird thing that i found out are:
1) I cannnot find their website after googling from the internet
2) They ask me to sign the agreement only after bank in the remaining money (RM40k) to them or giving them cash. This is weird because normally consumer can sign the agreement after giving the deposit. This means that if you're not careful, you can be cheated after giving them their money, without having any proof of the act.
3) Their offer only valid on that day. If it is a real good business opportunity shouldnt it be available the whole time?
4) They only disclose the pricing only after you agree to commmit to the business. In a way the marketing is not that transparent
5) They refuse to give out the list of name of directors or organisation chart. In a way, also a sign that the marketing is not transparent
6) Why would they have like at least 4 different office in 4 different blocks in Megan Avenue? 1 is not enough?
Only yesterday i remember to search for feedback on this product. Manage to find this forum & a few other websites. This are my findings:
1) Water Drops have a new branch in JB. I've confirm this with the company's consultant. They might be using the name Signature Profit. They also have other branches, using different names and according to some people in the forum, branch in TTDI and Kuantan.
2) Water Drops produce the machine called Smart Kiosk. Its a boxed-type of machine. There is also another product by a company GMC Utama called Mat Kiosk, which is totally different. The machine looks like a curve. My friend join this one and said that Smart Kiosk & Mat Kiosk are 2 different things. There is also another machine called Kodak Kiosk, dont know by whom though.
3) Mat Kiosk have the same plan like Smart Kiosk, except for the different type of machine & they dont have advertisement income. The HQ is in damansara and the Directors are also available during the presentation and everything. In a way the company sounds more reliable than Water Drops, but i dont know for how long. I'm just waiting to see what happen to my friend that join the Mat Kiosk
4) Most of the people here are having problems reclaiming their deposit back, but only after changing their mind of not joining the business and after reading the forum. In a way, changing your mind in joining the business is not a strong proof that they are cheating and it will be hard to get your money back
5) Some people are cheated since the company take the money from the credit card with the amount that was not approved by them
6) I think until now only one user (market20star) who already got the machine and said that he have problem with it. is there anyone else who already got the machine & having problems? Please share your experience. Are there any people who have paid in full and havent got their machine yet? How long have you guys wait? i've also read somewhere that one person already paid the amount in full, dint receive the copy of the agreement & stillwating for the machine, is this true?
im just sharing my experience here. PM me for anything. i've paid Rm1k that i know that i will never get back. Bukan rezeki i la kot. Just want to find out the truth
