This indicator may be used more for breakout trading, according to the crocodile analogy, when it sleeps for a long time it will eventually wake up and look for prey. When the three alligator lines are tangled together, meaning the market is sideways, traders wait for the breakout which is marked by the alligator lines crossing and expanding
