Christian Dove is a Director of Synergy Financial Markets Pty Ltd and oversees the operations of the company. Christian has been working in the financial markets for 22 years, started his career as a money broker with Butler Harlow Ueda in London, before joining Nomura International Plc. At Nomura he was the head of Tri-Party Repo trading and sales, and liquidity management; then the head of the Treasury planning and analysis group. Christian later joined Fimat (the futures broking division of Societe Generale Bank) in London and moved to Sydney, Australia as Fimat’s Asian-Pacific treasurer, before joining and becoming a director of Australia’s leading Managed Discretionary Account Operator. He is RG146 compliant and a Responsible Manager of Synergy’s Australian Financial Services Licence.
Piers Cracknell is a Director of Synergy Financial Markets Pty Ltd and responsible for the sales and marketing for the company. He has over 11 years experience of the FX markets in FX Dealing and Derivatives. He started his career with HiFX Plc where, as Head of Sales, he was a key driver behind the company becoming one of the fastest growing companies in the UK. At Bank of Scotland, as Assistant Director, FX, he worked with major corporates, funds and private equity firms to manage FX risk. Piers later joined TTT Moneycorp as their Commercial Director to assist the company in achieving FSA regulatory status.
In 2008, Piers was invited by the Bank of England as a Key Note Speaker to present on the retail FX industry. He is RG146 compliant, a Responsible Manager of Synergy’s Australian Financial Services Licence, FSA regulated and holds the Investment Managers Certificate.
Jamie Henderson has specialized in financial services and emerging company market for over 20 years. He is the founder of the Transocean Group which has advised on renewable energy, oil, nickel and rare earths mines in Australia, Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and Singapore. The Transocean Group has been involved in a variety of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, takeovers and capital raisings in Singapore, Australia, Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. Current capital raisings are in excess of $100 million. Mr. Henderson's expertise includes corporate strategy and structure, capital raising and commercial negotiation. He is currently a director of a number of companies including the following publicly-listed companies: Actus Minerals Corp. (AAC:TSXV), Compass Gold Corp (CVB:TSXV) and Oklo Uranium Ltd. (OKU:ASX). Mr. Henderson is a qualified Chartered Accountant holds a B.Comm from the University of Western Australia and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Ms Lara Iacusso, Company Secretary, is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of FINSIA and a Director of Synergy. She has over 20 years experience and specialises in the provision of equities and corporate finance services to companies. Her focus is on providing advice relating to corporate transactions and strategies including overall project management, valuation, due diligence, stock exchange listings, capital raisings and commercial negotiation. Prior to joining Synergy, Lara was a Corporate Finance partner with Deloitte in Australia. Lara has worked in several countries over her professional career including Australia, Hong Kong, China and North America.
In addition to her role with Synergy, Lara is a director of Transocean Group Pty Ltd; as well as a director and chief financial officer of TSX-listed company, Compass Gold Corporation.
