When it comes to the selection of short term trading stratagem many traders try to work scalpers. From my point of view, short time frame is more appropriate than long time frame for a risk adverse investor and scalping can be easily used by the traders who want lower trading risks. Since in scalping we are trying to center on minor price movements and we want to earn smaller to moderate profit.

Not just as simple as that. Even if you say the scalping is more easy to trade without a good trading plan you will loss all your money fast.

You will need to have a (healthy) obsession with trading. You have to absolutely love trading. You have to love analysing the charts. Again and again and again.

Newbies are strictly advised to stay away from short term trading as it is highly risky. You cannot analyze the market properly in the beginning of career even if you are not good with the long-term trading. So, it is right thing to stay as protective as you can on the forex market. Thanks

Short-term trading is a trading strategies for stock market or futures market where the time duration between entry and exit is within a duration of few days to few weeks. Its most part is covered by the technical analysis of the market but still there are some other factors that should not be neglected while performing a short term forex trading.

First, and most importantly, you must realize that trading Forex successfully is more about mastering yourself than it is about mastering the market or any strategy or system.

Hey KariPlov, please correct me if I understood well, but you are saying that newbies should stay away both from short-term and long-term trading. Then, what should they trade? Did you wanted to say that newbies should be careful with their trades until they get enough experience? Right?

Short-term trading is good because you do not need to wait long. Not everyone can sit around the clock and watch one trade deal. The risks in scalping are the same as in long-term trading. The trader increases the money volume of the order.

I think that it all depends on traders preferences. If you are fine with short term strategies and have enough nerves to trade 10-20 deals within short period of time, then this strategy would be very good option for you. Some other traders might be bored with this kind of trading

I think that this type of trading may not suit everyone. It requires perseverance, quick reaction and spending a lot of time near the terminal, making frequent and fast transactions, which can lead to rapid fatigue and mistakes.
