- To lead and assess the factors controlling the distribution and accumulation of petroleum in a given area through integrated geological and geophysical data and Geoscience concepts
- To assist in evaluation of the prospectively of an oil and gas fairway and implement appropriate geophysical work plan to enter into the area.
- To lead and implement the exploration and appraisal geophysical activities in order to establish the presence of new oil and gas reserves
- To conduct post well evaluation for drilled exploration wells and field model update for basis of future appraisal, holding application, field development and reserves certification
- To support in Field Review, Further Development and Production Enhancement.
- To support Geoscience department and staff capability development and overall company business integration and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Min bachelor degree in geology/geophysics or any related discipline
- Only for Malay / Bumiputeras
- At least 15 years of experience in exploration & production industry
- At least 5 years’ experience as geophysicist
- Must be in advanced in Geophysicist
- Proven technical competency and leadership qualities, integration of multi discipline information, cross culture sensitivity, business savvy.
