HI
When I connect my IPOD I get the following message:
Do you want to scan and fix IPOD?
I've enclosed a screenshot of the error I get. I click continue without scanning and my IPOD (shuffle) loads into Itunes and I am able to use it as I normally would. Occasionally, I get the scan and fix question when I am using Itunes with the Ipod plugged in and it seems to happen when the Ipod syncs with Itunes.
I have restored the Ipod twice already and that hasn't fixed the problem. If I try to scan and fix the Ipod I get an error that Windows cannot find the device.
It seems as if Windows is detecting the IPOD as a USB drive and wants to format it or something like that. Any ideas on how to get Vista to recognize the IPOD as an IPOD and not a USB Drive that is improperly formatted?
