Position : Network Support Engineer
Level : Junior / Fresh Entry
Type : Permanent / Full Time
Responsibilities:
~Manages and monitors all systems, networks, firewalls, load balancers/routers and SANs which include planning and executing selection, installation, configuration, and testing of PC and server hardware, software, LAN, WAN networks and operating and system management systems.
~Maintenance of Operating Systems environments according to systems requirements, coordinating changes in OS environments, planning of IP and firewalls setup.
~Manage all security aspects of systems on operating system level.
~Perform routine system / network penetration test.
~Troubleshooting system hardware, networks and operating and system management systems.
Requirements:
~Must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
~A minimum of 1 year of network engineering experience or related industry experience
~Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations and persistence to work until the issue is resolved.
~Must be positive, hardworking and able to meet tight deadlines.
~Ability to work independently around the clock as well as in a team.
~Effective presentation, strong analytical, interpersonal, documentation and communication skills.
~Effective communication skills
~Possess industry certification is a plus e.g CCNA
~Chinese preferred
~Required travelling overseas.
