Masalah Samsung smart TV tak boleh play External HD

Nope... FAT32 seriously ? now are 4K Era, still using FAT32 format for HDD ? did u know what's the maximum file size for FAT32 format HDD ? 4GB for a single file... and what's the common file size for 4K video or even 1080P full movies ?

Sepatutnya aku bawak dulu external HHD kat senheng test baru betul.

Thanks for your advise Greatdane. Really appreciate it. Will try to use the original USB cable. So far i the extension usb cable works fine with normal LED sony TV, I can play all of the movies format.

Tak ingat pulak format fat32 ke NTFS . Ada effect jugak ke?

No, don't format to FAT32, use only NTFS for common Windows use unless u are using MAC.
Btw, Samsung TV did support FAT32, NTFS...etc. Detail pls refer instruction menu or FAQ from Samsung official :

Dah try use WD Passport with its own original USB cable. Wallaaaa. My samsung TV dah boleh read semua video format yg dia claimed. Bila tukar extension USB cable ada problem tak boleh read. Kesimpulannya, untuk play movies from HDD :

1. Use latest HDD with origial 1 ft USB cable or
2. Thumdrive or Pendrive

ada sesetengah LED/LCD brand tv nak kena donwload dulu dia punya driver dari internet, lepastu letak driver tu dalam HDD atau pendrve..baru bole baca video/picture format dalam tu

bro salah faham maksud i kalau bro format pakai FAT32, system FAT32 ada files size limitation (4GB). Kalau bro nak masuk video files (single file) yang lebih daripada 4GB ke drive FAT32 tak boleh... itulah sebab HDD sekarang tak pakai FAT32,
FAT32 cuma sesuai pakai kat thumb drive yg simpan files kecil sahaja...

ooohhhh...tq tuan atas penerangan..hehehehe...saye duk bayangkan tv mmg fat 32 je die bce..pasal tv ram die kecik nk buffer size besar2 file cerite..hahahaha...
