Me just play a year plus, so live account just lose 50USD over when tested 4 month demo well and put in real, the 5th month is the turning point of Day trend where it has tremendous fall. And at the 5th month I learn that Martingale EA need 500Acc to withstand the draw down of 250-280 pip. So have to cut loss myself when see the big trend has change, now using a very high gain Pro-Expert EA to do only sell, now regaining back to 240. 10 more to full recover. Which u can see in Robot no.9 in my GoldData, 26.15% gain in this Mac'10.
My live account experience ? Definitely lose more than 2k USD, for fresh start newbie exploration, as only tested 1 month see good result then go in, tested 3 month also go in.
So you need many month of demo test to find out the odd of winning rate of EA. As the EA may perform well in 3 month, but later may fail, my GoldData has the journal log since i begin testing demo.
So far the potential found EA is Brilliance, Stork Pro (still in research).
And many other more EA in this forum and in my PC still not yet test.
