Is Forex a reliable earning source?

I always hesitate to entitle forex as a reliable profession because I saw many people are struggling to reap gain from the market but still they are failure. What will you say in this regard?

Variability of returns is inherent to trading you can't do anything about that. That's the hardest part of trading - withstand periods of negative returns which happen to be quite long.

99% traders lost in forex. only people who taking advantage on the forex trends itself is really making money like IB, selling EA and indicators, not forgetting who organizing classes are making thenselves a millionaire. so if you really want to trade, do it as a hobby, not a profession. otherwise one day you’ll want to suicide
