Najib ikuti perkembangan iPhone

CYBERJAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Razak adalah Perdana Menteri yang sentiasa mengikuti perkembangan.

Beliau tidak mahu ketinggalan mendapatkan alat perhubungan terbaharu di dalam pasaran.

Dengan memiliki satu Apple iPhone 3GS, walaupun bukan model iPhone 4 yang terbaharu yang masih belum terjual di Malaysia, Perdana Menteri berkata telefon pintar itu boleh membantunya sebagai "kamus bergerak" pada bila-bila masa.

Sambil mengharapkan inovasi itu akan subur di dalam ekosistem optimum, beliau berkata fakta dan maklumat hari ini boleh diperolehi secara meluas.

“Lihatlah pada Wikipedia, ensaiklopedia terbesar di dunia yang boleh diperoleh secara online dan percuma sepenuhnya bagi sesiapa sahaja untuk menggunakannya."

"Wikipedia adalah satu contoh baik mengenai idea "kemusnahan kreatif" pakar ekonomi (Amerika), (Joseph Alois) Schumpeter, yang memberi maksud bahawa ensaiklopedia tradisional tidak lagi menarik seperti dahulu."

“Dan, malah kamus juga tidak lagi berguna dan malah, dengan menggunakan iPhone, saya memiliki kamus bergerak bersama-sama dengan saya pada setiap masa," katanya, semasa berucap kepada para pelajar dan peserta pada pelancaran "Malaysia: Konvensyen Nasional Negara Inovasi" di Limkokwing University of Creative Technology di sini hari ini.

Siapa tahu, Najib, yang akan berusia 57 tahun tiga hari lagi, akan menerima Apple iPad terbaharu sebagai hadiah harijadinya.

Tetapi, seseorang perlu pergi ke selatan tanah air kerana alat iPad, yang dikatakan sebagai "produk luar biasa," akan dilancarkan di sembilan negara lagi, yang termasuk Singapura, pada Jumaat.

Lapan lagi negara itu ialah Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Belanda dan New Zealand. - BERNAMA

Shocker: Apple iPhone 4 To Be Available Contract Free In Singapore!

Yep, a big shock indeed. I am quite certain not many people were expecting Apple to sell the iPhone 4 contract free through its own Apple store, but apprently it is doing just that this time round. Perhaps the monopoly by firstly, Singtel, and then subsequently M1 and Starhub had lasted long enough that Apple decided to go this route, or it could be the case that the celcos were not willing to commit enough sales.

Either way, it’s good news for consumers. But it’s likely that the majority of the contract free sets will end up in Malaysia, and China. But that’s beside the point – the big question now is, will the same situation prevail in Malaysia? Will we get to buy contract free iPhone 4s?

And here’s the next surprise – the pricing. The 16GB will sell for S$888, approximately RM 2,080, while the 32GB will sell for S$1,048, approximately RM 2,453. Wow. I’m speechless. This will just blow those competing Android smartphones out of the water completely. Annihilation.

kalau beli dekat Singapoe iPhone 4 yg contract free tu, boleh bawa masuk Msia pakai tak?..

Mmg boleh pakai kat M'sia sbb phone tu tak di lock kpd mana2 specific telco. Ramai org M'sia dah beli di S'pore. Cuma kena pakai micro sim, bukannya sim kad saiz biasa. So far di M'sia maxis jek yg ada provide micro sim. Tapi kalau berani boleh potong sim kad biasa kpd saiz micro sim. Kalau silap potong sendiri tanggung.

Yg tak bestnya iPhone ni local warranty jek bukannya international warranty. Kalau rosak kena la pegi ke negara asal masa beli iPhone tu. Elok la tunggu sebulan dua lagi iPhone 4 jual kat M'sia.
