How much time should be given in Forex?

A trader in the forex market can hold a position for as little as a few minutes or as long as a few years. A trader can take a position based on underlying economic trends in one nation vs another, depending on the purpose.

I usually hold position no more than 12 hrs to avoid paying swaps. these are additional costs that I don't like and adapt my trading strategy accordingly.

Forex markets around the world are open 24 hours a day, starting at 5pm. Sunday to 4pm EST. EST Friday. Part of the reason that Forex can be traded within 24 hours is due to the different international time zones.

We must constantly learn and learn from our mistakes. In this way, we gradually improve our trading strategy and increase the chance of making a profit. Therefore, do not despair after the first failures and continue to study the methods of market analysis. Good earnings are never easy and fast.

In forex trading persistence and regularity are quite important. You cannot expect to try out once a month and expect to make profits. You may be a beginner, but it is still important to devote time on a regular basis. For short term trading for instance it is best to do this on a daily basis.
Consistency and persistence are vital in forex trading. Regular practice, especially with short-term strategies, helps develop skills, understand market patterns, and refine strategies. Trading daily builds discipline and increases the chances of long-term profitability. Stay committed!

This question is really dubious and it is not very clear what is meant by the time spent on forex.
If you meant, how much time we should spend on learning the market, then the answer will be as much as you can. Forex is constantly changing and there are lots of different tendencies which are changing all the time and a trader should keep up with the market in order to follow a trend. However, if you ask, how much time should we spend on trading, then it depends on trader. There are many opinions and approaches to trading and it is impossible to say which of them are objectively right or wrong. If a trader is a fan of short-ter trading, then he spends much time sitting in front of the computer watching the charts. However, there are also people who are fond of long-term trading and they open the trading terminal only several times a day.
The time spent on forex depends on your trading style. For short-term traders, more screen time is required to monitor market movements, while long-term traders may only need to check positions periodically. Regardless, continuous learning is essential to stay updated with market changes and trends.

The amount of time you should devote to forex depends on your trading style, personal circumstances and goals. For example, if you choose scalping, you will need more time to analyze the market and make frequent trades during the day, while positional trading will require much less time to analyze the market on higher timeframes and to make or maintain trades.

Time, patience, and commitment are key in Forex. Respecting the process, learning, and adapting will ultimately lead to consistent success.

Success in Forex requires time, dedication, and patience—without it, profitability and respect remain out of reach.

Forex trading can be mentally taxing, especially if you trade actively and make a large number of trades. To avoid emotional burnout, it is important not only to manage your time, but also to find a balance. Excessive time for trading can lead to excessive fatigue and making bad decisions, which in turn can affect the results.
