General advises and experiences sharing for forex traders

I mostly prefer stock trading. It feels more structured to me. The only downside is that not many brokers offer solid stock trading options, especially compared to forex.

The demo account is the master place for a beginner to acquire all basic fundament information which is very supportive to continue a live account in a proper way. But practically most of the beginners don’t believe the importance of this trading place at all. In my trading career, I use all my trading strategies in demo trading to see the performance how it works.

There are many time frames in forex charts going from 1 minute to 1 Month. Which time frame is good it depends on individuals. It is all about your understanding of charts and your strategy. It is true that in lower time frames there is much noise. If any can read the well, then I see no problem. The important thing is to be skilled in charts reading regardless of time frames.

What pairs do you dislike the most? For me, the pairs with highest spread are my least favorite cause its hard for me to cross over the spread point to make a profit and I have to wait for a long time if they do go over that. I like the popular ones due to low spread and high volumes on trades. I do not like any two European pairs with each other as they're not having much movement due to the fact that they're kind of similar in nature and therefore less movement.

I dislike pairs with high spreads too; they eat into profits and slow trading down. I also avoid similar-region pairs like EUR/CHF or EUR/GBP since they lack volatility. I prefer major pairs like EUR/USD or USD/JPY for tighter spreads.

Exactly, the best time frame depends on your strategy and skill. Lower time frames have more noise, but if you can read them well, they work. Mastering chart reading is more important than the time frame itself.

A demo account is crucial for beginners to build skills and test strategies safely. I always use it to refine my methods before going live. It’s a vital step many new traders sadly overlook.

I think that training on a demo account is an important component of proper trading training. After all, no one ever knows the quality and performance of other people's trading strategies, indicators or forex robots found online. Therefore, it will be important to personally check them, optimize them and, if necessary, refine them, and only then open a real account for more effective and reasonable trading.

demo is a must, like not just for beginners. like i do have my live account with hfm but keep a demo account as well, serves as testing of certain strategies, or simply i post a trade there if im not certain enough to excute it on live, but for new comers its a must, all trades and learning should be done on demo, there is no logical explanation to burn live money while learning if demo is available.
