Rate Adjustment

In order to cope with the competitive market, the company decided to adjust Local Deposit Rate for Malaysia Region to RM3.50 for 1USD for deposit and RM3.30 for 1USD for withdrawal; begin to take effect on 1st January 2013. Below is the solution for phenomenon you may face due to these changes:

In the case of the client’s account is deposited before 1st January 2013 with the former rate of RM3.30 per USD and there is no any fund deposit after 1st January 2013.
Solution: The account is following the former rate of RM3.10 per USD whenever withdrawal is made even after 1st January 2013

In the case of there is a balance in the client’s account which is deposited with the rate of RM3.30 per USD and there is a new fund deposit after 1st January 2013 with the rate of RM3.50 per USD.
Solution: The balance of the account right before the new deposit is valued for RM3.10 per USD for withdrawal but the remaining balance is valid for RM3.30 per USD for withdrawal. The balance of the previous rate is the priority to be cleared.

Example: Your account’s balance is 1000USD and you have deposited your account of the amount of 500USD on 15th January 2013 with the rate of RM3.50 per USD; in the case of you had made profit of 500USD two weeks later and make full withdrawal, the previous balance of 1000USD will be paid by the rate of RM3.10 per USD and the remaining 1000USD will be paid by the rate of RM3.30 per USD.

In the case of you loss 1000USD with the remaining balance is 500USD and you had make full withdrawal, the balance will be paid by the rate of RM3.10 per USD which is the priority to be cleared

In the case that there is zero balance in the account and the new deposit is made after 1st January 2013
