format dan virtual memory

1. aku bnyk download filem format mkv....aku simpan dlm satu external hd wd 250gb....filem tu semua dah sampai 200gb .baru dlm seminggu nih bila aku klik kat file filem yg disimpandlm hd tu....tak bleh main kat vlc....ada msg kat icon tray sebelah kanan bawah monitor aku....dia kata virtual memory is to low....aku dah set virtual memory bagi besar kat control panel>system>advanced>perfomance>setting.....tapi tak bleh gak la mainfilem tu.....camna ha....sapa bleh tolong nih?

masa mula2 beli neh...ngko ada format tak Ext.HD tu??sebelum save movie ngko suma tu.

aku dah setkan virtual memory utk semua harddisk dan partition dlm tu sebelum ni....tapi tak bleh gak.pc aku ader 3 partition....aku ader dua hd wd 250gb dan maxtor one touch 250gb.yang maxtor tak dak masalah.maxtor pun dah lebih dari 200gb aku isi....siri tv, lagu lagu karaoke dan mp3.

aku ler.....aku dah setkan no paging file pun ta bleh gak bukak dan main filem tu.

sapa tau cara nak format partition guna dos command.....aku nak format guna dos jer.....

ni cara paling tradisional:
kalu ada cd/dvd windows installer/boot disket/disk, ko boot je dari situ , sampai je kat menu pilihan format, ko pilih drive yg nak diformat, pastikan betul2 nak format yg mana, jgn tersalah format os drive(partition) atau drive yg ko simpan data. lepas selesai format, ko close/exit, jgn install apa2 os.

make sure exit lepas tu

Solution: I assume that you got a little balloon in the bottom right-hand corner announcing that your virtual memory is low and that Windows is adjusting it. If this happens just once, don't worry—as the message said, Windows found a problem and fixed it. But if it happens repeatedly, it could be that your settings don't allow Windows to make the necessary adjustment. First, make sure your drive isn't overly full. In Windows Explorer, right-click the drive icon and choose Properties. If the amount of free space is under about 10 percent, you'll need to free up some space. You can use the Disk Cleanup button right next to the free space indicator, or manually move some files to off-line storage, or uninstall unnecessary applications—whatever it takes to get more free space.

If low drive space isn't the problem, the virtual-memory settings may be wrong. Right-click My Computer and choose Properties. Click the Advanced tab. Click the Settings button in the Performance panel. Click the Advanced tab in the Performance dialog. Click the Change button in the Virtual memory panel. Whew! This setting is buried quite thoroughly! Look for the System managed size option, select it if it isn't already selected, and then click OK, OK, OK. That should end the warnings.

Windows loves to use virtual memory. Even if you set the value of virtual memory to zero it is still being used. It’s basic use is to provide additional memory if most of the RAM of the computer is already occupied. This virtual memory is taken from the hard drive from so called paging files. Most optimization articles suggest to use between one and three times of the amount of RAM as virtual memory.

For a 2 Gigabyte system it would mean between 2 and 6 Gigabyte of virtual memory preferably taken from a secondary hard drive and not the system partition. The Virtual Memory to low warning pops up if the RAM and virtual memory are not able to store all the data needed and there are basically two solutions for this.

The first one would be to install more RAM. If you run Windows Vista with 512 Megabyte you will have an overall experience of slowness and might experience the virtual memory to low warning quite often even if you set that value to 1.5 or 2 Gigabytes. I would suggest to increase the RAM to 2 Gigabyte (or 4 Gigabyte) if you have the budget.

Ram is not that expensive currently and you can get 4 Gigabytes for as low as $75 plus shipping at Newegg currently. (make sure your computer is compatible and read the reviews).

If adding more RAM is not an option you can try to raise the virtual memory itself and move it to another hard drive if one is available. Depending on the settings already in place I would choose a value of at least twice the RAM amount and at least 2 Gigabytes.

You can check the virtual memory setting by pressing the [Windows Pause] keys which should open System Properties. Click on the Advanced tab and there on settings under Performance.

Click again on the Advanced tab and you will see the Virtual Memory setting at the bottom. Reducing background applications could also help getting rid of the Virtual Memory too low warning message.

camni. sebab ko dah set pagingfile kat semua partition. ko xleh format partition psl window sedang menggunakan file paging ko. dgn erti kate lain virtual memory ko.

2 - klik run
3 - taip cmd pastu tekan ok
4 - kuat tetingkap kaler itam
5 - taip d:
6 - taip dir /a pagefile.sys
- ataupon taip attrib
7 - ader tak file pagefile.sys
- kalo ader, pagefile.sys tu ialah virtual memory tuk OS windows.

kalo tanak gune command prompt.

1 - bukak my computer ko
2 - klik menu tools
3 - klik folder options
4 - klik view
5 - scrol kat bawah sket.
6 - klik show hidden files and folders
7 - klik hide protected operating system files (Recommended)
8 - bukak ko punyer d drive
9 - nanti ko nampak file pagefile.sys


cube delete pagefile.sys. mesti xleh punyer.

lagi 1, ko kate partition d dan e ko kosong pastu ader gap size. itu mungkin disebabkan oleh size virtual memory yg ko dah set kat partition d dan e. kalo kat d dan e drive ko hanye ader pagefile.sys dan xder file lain. ko tak perlu risau. xder virus nyer dan x perlu format. Andai kate nak format jugak. ko kene buang balik virtual memory yg ko dah set kat partition d dan e. pastu restat balik pc ko.

ape yg ddos kate tu btl. mungkin byk background applikasi yg jalan kat pc ko. kasik tutup services/program yg tak diperlukan. program yg tak diperlukan ni memang menyesakkan memory.

cara yang ngko bagi tu....tak bleh...sebab bila aku right klk kat partition tu....perkataan format tak hitam...dia jadi kelabu...maknanya tak bleh buat la....

external HDD tu dah diformat masa beli dulu....dua dua dah format....danaku dah format beberapa hari yg lalu...aku pindahkan semua file filem yg lebih 200gb tu ke dlm tempatlain....dan aku format EHDD tu....

aku ader cd windows service pack 3...download guna rapidshare....tapi tak bleh boot guna cd tu....tak tau ler apsal....ader ker setting yg mesti dibuat utk menjadikan cd tu bootable disk?

aku dah cancelpaging file kat semua partition dan EHDD aku tu...still cannot la
cara cek guna command promt dan melalui folder option pun dah buat....ada pagefile.sys.
PC aku hanya digunakan utk melayari internet, download filem dan tgk filem yg didownload menggunakan cable vga yang disambungkan ke tv lcd samsung 40inci aku jer ...so aku mmg tak set apa apa background.....cuma yg kaler biru ader windows xp tu jer....dan tak bnyk program pun diinstallkan dlm pc aku....hanya yg perlu utk mendownload, mengextract dan tgk filem....dan office lite version.....

itu saja buat masa ni....

kalo kat partion d dan e ko masih ader file pagefile.sys, itu maknenyer ko masih lom disable paging file tuk drive d dan e ko. pastikan mase nak buang paging file ko tu ko klik no paging file dan klik set, pastu baru klik ok
