Forex trading untuk yang bukan Full Time Trader

Forex trading is an additional source of income for me now. That's why I trade part-time.

Hi. What blogs/books/articles etc would you recommend for someone with a full-time job to do swing trading? (or any kind of trading with medium to long-term perspective)

For swing trading, I recommend the book "Swing Trading for Dummies" by Omar Bassal, which offers a solid foundation. Blogs like Investopedia and BabyPips also provide great articles for beginners. Additionally, The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham is excellent for long-term perspectives. For ongoing learning, The Trader's Podcast offers insightful interviews with experienced traders.

There are two types of Forex traders. One is full time trader and the other is part time Forex trader. Which the best to you. I am a student and I am part time Forex trader. There are many full time or professional traders who are very skilled as they take it Forex. But one thing is clear that full time trader can earn more than a part time trader. What do you think?

Both full-time and part-time trading have their advantages. Full-time traders can dedicate more time and focus, potentially earning more, but part-time traders, like students, can still be successful by using disciplined strategies and risk management. The key is consistency and continued learning, regardless of the time commitment.

But one thing is clear that full time trader can earn more than a part time trader. What do you think?
I think it all depends on skills and experience. And if you are a beginner, for example, then even trading full-time will not help you earn. But a professional trader can earn well, even working part-time, trading on higher timeframes swing trading or in the long term, for which you do not need to be constantly near the terminal all day.

I think newbie traders should stick to their job first to gain money for their daily living cost rather than waiting on trends for profit since its too hard for them and they might lose more than gain so they end up with no jobs and more losses so it becomes a major problems. I mean you work the entire day to make $100 and then lose it in 10 minutes is not fun. So, I think newbie should still practice in mini account for a couple of months and then risk more money.

I think that first a beginner should get good experience and skills to be able to earn a living only by trading on Forex. But you need to understand that this will take a lot of time and effort, so it is better to have a main job, and study and practice on Forex additionally until you see the profitability of your trading and the stability of earnings.

Newbie traders should focus on securing their daily income first, rather than relying on trading for quick profits. Starting with a mini account allows them to practice and gain experience without risking significant amounts, minimizing potential losses.

Newbies should avoid full-time trading initially. It's essential to first build a solid understanding of the markets, strategies, and risk management. Starting part-time allows for learning and practicing without the pressure of making immediate profits. This approach helps avoid significant losses while gaining experience and confidence in trading.
