In response to Nevis Services Regulation and Supervision Department that e-gold has been struck from the Nevis register of companies.

The Nevis Financial Services Regulation and Supervision Department wishes to advise that the website www.e-gold.com contains inaccurate and misleading information as to its legal status.

E-Gold Limited was incorporated in July 1999 under the Nevis Business Corporation Ordinance 1984 (NBCO). However, it was subsequently found not to be in good standing and was struck from the register of companies on July 31, 2003 for non-payment of fees, as required by s.99 of the NBCO. E-Gold Limited has not applied to the Registrar to be restored to the register. Therefore, it is not on the register of companies in Nevis and as such we advise that persons viewing this site or proposing to do business with E-Gold Limited should exercise great caution.

Default E-gold Rumors - Just that! RUMORS - From Admin of Talkgold
Ok, I'm getting tired of all these conspiracy theories. E-gold is fine, they will be back. They have not been shut down by the FBI, Secret Service, or anyone. Their site is down due to server problems. I'm 99% sure of this!

There are members coming on here trying to start rumors about E-gold being shut down. There is no proof of this, and I have talked with numerous exchangers who are very close to e-gold. They are having server issues (most likely ddos).

I don't know what these people are trying to do by starting all this false rumors, but they ARE NOT TRUE! Mark my words. E-gold will be back!

Please stop making new threads with new rumors, new theories etc. Please stop posting new threads saying "E-gold is gone", "E-gold is a scam", E-gold won't be back". It's just cluttering up the forum.
