there is alot of fuel saving device that gives psychological improvements.. doesnt help in saving fuel at all.. according to many people's theory.. saving fuel is best using your right foot.. be kind on the throttle...
well.. take a look at this fuel saving device that I made!! it actually works!!
first you need the tools!!
its better to use cable ties.. since its labour day and no hardware shops are open.. I couldnt get cable ties.. so I use metal wires.. hahaha... quite tedious.. better to use cable ties..
take the measurements of your throttle and cut the wood according to your measures.. you shud take the measurements of how far is the throttle to the firewall..
so I cut the wood according to my measurements.. its best for you to have two pieces of wood.. you will see why later...
after cutting it.. you then join the two wood together... punch a nail through in the middle of the wood to join them together... reason why must we punch a nail through the middle is because that this will make the wood under it swing.. this is needed when you need more power to go up hill..
a groove is needed on the wood so that it will fit nicely into the acceletor pedal... the depth of the groove is measured by taking 20% of the length of the accelerator pedal travel.. depending on taste.. 10% also can.. you have abit more travel because the carpet is abit hollow.. so you have push it back a little bit more..
after that you turn the wood which is under it.. the one which is not grooved... you turn it to 80 - 90 degrees which ever degree you want so that it will be able to clear the wood... then you use the saw and cut it..
you all must be wondering how on earth do I swing the wood away so tat I can get more pedal travel.. well.. I put a nail under it so that I can move it by my foot..
its time to fit it into the car... just slide it in into the accelerator pedal and secure it with the cable tie... or in my case is the metal wires.. and voila! you have a fuel saving device in your car!
use your foot to push the wood under it and it will become like this..
you must fit the accelertor pedal into the groove really tight.. cuz when you use your leg to push the wood.. your whole device will go out of place.. ahhaha...
IT WORKS!! IT GIVES ME BETTER MILEAGE!! LOL!!
to people who believes magnet and acetone and those other devices work... your device doesnt work.. it give you psychological effects which makes you think it works... this really works.. this doesnt give me any psychological effects... this trains you to use less on the accelertor pedal..
