Himedia Q5 Quad are lock adb system at the moment.
There are 3 XBMC version are work on Himedia Quad model including Q16 Quad,Q5 Quad and Q10 Quad.
Uninstall your existing one and delete all related folder before install the the new one.

(1) Latest 14.0 Kodi Alpha3 (or older Alpha2)

But I don't recommend this one because this one having problem with plug-in.If you really want then only I give you the link.

Ok I tried both version with Q16 Quad and it's work.
Q5 Quad are same with Q16 Quad only different are flash 16GB/8GB... and both version already prove working on Q5 Quad @ Official Himedia China Forum.Just for info, if your Android TV Box main purpose are for XBMC then you have to go for Minix box because Minix PAID $$ to XBMC just to write a custom XBMC version special for Minix box.Others Android TV Box can only use standard universal version of XBMC and for sure you can't expect 100% compatible like Minix does... especially Himedia Quad model are still not stable yet.
Btw, there are apk download link on the 2nd link i gave in my previous link look carefully... or you can find it in your Playstore either...
