General Startup Procedure for The SkyDecks Boeing 737-NG Panel, v3.0:
(Assuming that the engines are off, all electrical is off, all fuel pump swtitches and engine valves are in the "OFF" position, and all pack and engine bleed switches and isolation valve are also in the "OFF" position as well. Otherwise adjust for your situation.)
1. Turn on the Main Battery.
2. Select either of the Left Main fuel pump switches to the "ON" position.
3. Select the APU switch to the "START" position. Monitor the APU Exhaust Gas Temperature gauge for stabilization.
4. With the APU fully powered up, select the APU Bleed switch to the "ON" position to provide pneumatic air to the bleed system.
5. Select the Isolation Valve switch to the "ON" position. This will open the pneumatic duct for APU Bleed-air to the Engine 2 start valve.
6. Turn on any of the Right Side Fuel pumps.
7. Close the overhead, and select "Shift + 4" to call up the throttle stack.
8. Select the Eng2 starter knob to the "Ground" position. Start valve Open light will illuminate for Eng2.
8. Monitor Eng2 N2 (make sure the secondary engine indications are visible). At around 19-20% N2, turn on the right side engine valve to the "IDLE" position.
9. Open the overhead again, and turn the Isolation valve to the "OFF" position.
10. Right side fuel is already selected for the APU.
11. Close the overhead.
12. Select the Eng1 starter knob to the "Ground" position. Start Valve Open light will illuminate for Eng1.
13. Monitor Eng1 N2. At around 19-20% N2, turn on the left side engine valve to the "IDLE" position.
14. Turn the APU Bleed Valve to the "OFF" position.
15. With both engines running, you may now turn the APU off by selecting the "OFF" position of the APU switch.
16. Turn on both Eng1 and Eng2 Bleed air valves and select packs on if desired.
17. Select the fuel pumps to your desired tank. The center tank is used first in most all conditions.
18. Turn on both Eng1 and Eng2 Hydraulic switches.
19. Turn Flight Control switches on, and when needed, turn on Spoilers switches. Yaw damper as necessary.
Note: The Engine bleed valves may be used to start the opposite engine. Turn off the APU bleed valve to perform this.
A refined start up flow, simplified real proceedure.
1. Battery on, verify electric hydraulic B pump switch is off
2. APU bleed off if not, verify engine bleed switches off
3. Aft. fuel pump no. 1 on, low pressure lights verify off
4. Apu switch on
5. Apu Gen off light must be on
6. Apu gen switches both to on, verify transfer bus light, bus off light, standbypower light going off
7. 1 minute pause until hook up the pneumatics,
8. Apu bleed air on, isolation valve auto, left or right pack auto or high
9. Check landig gear lever down, check flap lever agree with flaps position indicator
10. Both engine bleed switches on, normally left on
11. Turn on all fuel pump switches
12. Hydraulic A pump switches off, hydraulic B pump switches on
13. Beacon on
14. Both pack switches off, packs off pressure goes up
15. Isolation valve auto, check
16. Verify duct pressure 30 psi
17. Left engine starter switch to ground
18. Verify duct pressure decreases
19. Hydraulics press A stays zero
20. Oil pressure increases
21. N2 25% - Engine start lever to idle, keep fingers on the lever until you can verify N1 rotation
22. EGT increases within 10 seconds
23. At N2 46% starter switch cutoff, automatically, verify
24. 17. to 21. for the right engine
25. Both engine gen to on, verify amber bus off lights are off
26. Hydraulic A pump switches to on
27. Apu off
28. Pitot heat switches on
29. Engine de-ice on, when conditions are given
30. Both pack switches auto
31. Isolation valve auto, check
32. Both engine bleed switches to on, verify
33. Apu bleed switch off, verify dual bleed light is going off
34. FLT/Ground switch to FLT, can find that here (please elaborate Olli?)
