Yup, ramai gak yg kate catu sbnrnye. rm20 tu ciput jek kalu dpt kualiti yg superb. Yela, TV ade yg sampai 60", sound system riban2, bluray player lagik...tapi pasang astro gambo ampess. So ok la spend rm20 tu. Tp bagi kalangan kita yg tiap tengah bulan asik kene buat tight budget, terasa gak banyak rm20 tu.

As someone here said, pakej HD tu tertakluk la kat pakej ape yg korang langgan. Cthnye, kalu xlanggan pakej movi, so xdapekla HBO HD even korg bayo bulan2 rm20 tu.

HD Ready & Full HD? Taip jek kat search google, banyak maklumat pasai perbandingan...tgk post kat bawah.

Now do you know what HD really is?

HDTV is defined as having higher quality video, audio and a wider image aspect ratio than standard television broadcast signals.

There are 4 formats that can be viewed on a High Definition TV; they are 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080p. The higher the number, the higher the resolution. Although HDTV’s can play all 4 formats, most experts refer toHigh Definition TV broadcasts as having either 720p and 1080p resolution.

What does this mean?

The term 720p means that 720 lines of pixels are used to create the TV picture. The “p” stands for progressive scanning, a technique that scans and displays all of the lines in one frame. 1080p displays in progressive scanning but has 1080 lines of pixels in a single frame, resulting in a clearer and more defined picture quality. 1080p are formats used to produce Blu-Ray discs but are rarely used for TV broadcasts.

So to the consumer, a 720p “HD-ready” television is enough to fully enjoy the HD experience of sharper images and kick ass colours! The industry standards for HD are 720p and 1080i are resolutions in which most TV programmes are being produced

Its early days for us in Malaysia with HD making its debut but its good to do some homework and pick your self a tv that will be ready for all this enhancements! There are some good resources online in which you can check out for advice.
