The Chinese Apple, Xiaomi has launched myriads of smartphones till today. Most of them come with Mi brand. I guess no one will mind, if I say this company has become so popular due to original Mi series smartphones. The Xiaomi Mi 5 took this brand to heights no one had been expected. But the same can’t be said for the Xiaomi Mi 5S. The latter is a great phone, though it’s not valued at all. Anyway, currently the most popular and beloved device of the company is the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. The most talked phone is the Xiaomi Mi MIX. As you see, a real flagship lacks. This shortcoming is going to be fixed in the nearest future. According to some rumors, Xiaomi will hold a special event on February 6, where it will announce the Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship.
First, we have heard this device will come in two versions – flat and curved. Later we learned there will be at least three variants. Now it turns out this rumor is going to be true. If it is, one version will be packed with MediaTek Helio X30 deca-core SoC, while the next two models will sport a Snapdragon 835 chip announced recently. Moreover, it’s said the memory will be improved as well. All these rumors and leaks cause a huge stir around this phone.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 has been expected to launch in March, but a new announcement said the release date is pushed back to April. Now it seems the new flagship of the company can’t be launched so late, because the Samsung Galaxy S8 is ready to hit the market. Thus Xiaomi can’t let one of its main rivals to be in advance. Though it’s said Samsung has required all the units of the Snapdragon 835 chipset’s first bunch, I am sure it’s far from the reality.

Xiaomi Mi 6 Sepcs Analyzes
It’s believed specs improvements are the most attractive thing in this phone that should bring more customers. But we don’t know much about the specs list. In this situation we have to make assumptions based on what we have.
Processor
First, it sports Snapdragon 835 SoC, the latest addition to the Qualcomm’s super-fast chipsets list. Recently a screenshot has been leaked showing the Mi 6 scored 210.000 at AnTuTu. Moreover, we have found another screenshot showing 225.000 scored points. This means the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be one of the fastest handsets in the globe.
As for the MediaTek Helio X30, we have recently compared the Helio X27 with the Snapdragon 820, and we saw Helio line SoCs are capable of showing strong resistance to Qualcomm’s models. The MediaTek Helio X30 comes with ten cores based on 10nm process technology, and though it can’t compete with the SND835, this chip is considered as the main rival to the SND821.
Camera
Though there are no words on what camera modules will be there on the Xiaomi Mi 6 models, we are sure all three versions will sport dual-camera. Dual-camera has become a mainstream and all top brand flagships come with it. Xiaomi is no exception – it has already managed to pack a few of its devices with dual camera. We can recall the Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus and Xiaomi Redmi Pro. But the Xiaomi Mi 6 is thought to come with two high resolution cameras at 20MP. Do you imagine what a beast it will be if taking into account the Mi 5S is packed with IMX378 sensor? The latter is also found on the Google Pixel.
