Community Airdrop:

DFINITY will be airdropping up to 25M Swiss Francs worth of DFN to community members.

The date of the airdrop has not been announced. KYC and AML will be required. Eligible community members will receive emails to begin this process in the coming weeks. All you have to do is sign up for our newsletter at https://dfinity.org/

Eligibility: US individuals will not be able to participate. We will be utilizing the DFINITY email list as a whitelist. Those currently signed up to the newsletter will be eligible.

Airdrop Caps: Airdrops will range from 500 to 2,500 Swiss Francs worth of DFN token and the individual cap will be based on tenure in the DFINITY community.

Beware, scam airdrops are likely to occur. We will announce participation dates and instructions well in advance via official DFINITY channels.

In summary:

1. Community members that joined our mailing list prior to April 4, 2018 (the date the airdrop was first announced) will have the opportunity to take part in the distribution of up to 25,000,000 CHF of DFN tokens. These community members will each be able to collect DFN tokens worth some amount between 500 and 2,500 CHF. A variety of inputs will be used to determine how DFN tokens are to be distributed amongst the community, including community tenure.

What to expect.

Our Know Your Customer (“KYC”) and Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) verification process will commence on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.
We’re proud to announce that CoinList will be our official KYC/AML partner for the DFINITY Community Airdrop

Initial emails will be sent out on a staggered basis, with our first wave of community members being invited to begin the KYC/AML process on May 30, and following waves being invited sporadically until the end of the week, June 2. Be sure to check your email frequently during this period (as well as your spam folder).

The absolute deadline for all participants to complete the KYC/AML process is June 8, 2018.

During this week, we strongly recommend that you scrutinize ALL communications you receive and be on the lookout for phishing attacks and other forms of fraud. DFINITY will NOT invite you to start the KYC/AML process from Telegram, Twitter, our website, or any other social media platform. You will not receive an email from the DFINITY newsletter linking to KYC/AML providers during this process, only expect to receive an official email from CoinList if you were selected to participate.

Participants will receive the official email to begin the KYC/AML process from CoinList.

Important note — Each subscriber will be required to cover their own KYC/AML processing fee (this charge is approximately USD $9 per person). Fees are payable directly to CoinList within the KYC/AML user flow using Ethereum (ETH) or a credit card. If you’ve never sent a payment using ETH before, you can learn how to here.

What you will need to complete KYC/AML.

Move through the KYC process quickly by being prepared in advance. Be sure to have a valid passport or some form of government issued ID on hand.
Upon successful completion of the KYC/AML process, users will receive an email confirmation of completion. Prior to the launch of the DFINITY network (planned later this year), you will receive additional communications from CoinList with instructions on how to create your DFINITY wallet and receive your tokens.
Note — some participants will not receive confirmation of the specific amount of DFN tokens that they will receive at this time as distribution amounts will be dependent upon the amount of participants that successfully complete the KYC/AML process. Basically korang kena jadi macam platform/interface tester and kasi feedback. In return depa akan kasi token dalam bentuk airdrop. Cuma untuk jadi tester kena lah spend sikit (less usd20) untuk buat some transactions dalam tu. Duit luak sikit je pun utk bayar fee.

Updates: Airdrop for those users yg buat swap on ETH network just recently released. Range of airdrop dalam 100-200 O3 tokens. Cuma kali ni airdrop dia pelik sikit since kita kena provide liquidity in order to unlock the O3 tokens. Kalau sapa yg ada join hangpa baca sendiri lah dalam guide bawah ada cerita step-by-step.
