Responsibilities
- To plan and conduct assigned SHE audit engagement successfully to all Works Package Contractors (WPC) or other relevant parties.
- Identify and communicate issue raised to all parties concern and recommend solutions relevant to the business and risk.
- Supervise audit edit team (if necessary), provide guidance and overall review of deliverable.
- Ensure audit conclusions are based on the complete understanding of the process, circumstances and risk.
- Develop Audit Checklist, Audit Programs and testing procedures relevant to the business need.
- Obtain and review evidence ensuring audit conclusion are well documented and without any discrepancies.
- Ensure at all-time; adhere to the auditing terms and conditions and relevant guidelines / standard.
- To liaise with local authorities, client, independent consultant and WPC to resolve any SHE related matters.
- To provide guidance and consultation internally within the project organisation on SHE requirements and implementation.
- Manage the production of timely monthly Safety and Health Performance report.
- Continually access and evaluate the performance of WPC.
- Conduct trend analysis on monthly basis, recommend action for improvement and submit report for the package under his/her coverage/ assessment.
- Conduct / attend joint safety and health inspection with local authorities, clients, senior management and WPC.
- Interface and communicate with other PDP departments on the requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, SHE or equivalent Certified Lead Auditor for OHSAS 18001 or ISO 140101. Registered Safety Health Officer or NEBOSH.
- Minimum 6 years relevant working experience.
- Excellent knowledge of local SHE legislation requirements and SHE Management systems.
- Good SHE technical knowledge. Ability to observe and understand business processes, identify underlying causes, good auditing skills.
- Excellent communication, solid listening, reliable and committed.
- Demonstrate positive attitude, good leadership and results oriented.
