SENIOR DESIGNER (PLANT PLOT LAYOUT)

Responsibilities:

• Perform plot planning (equipment location plan) , preliminary plant layout and piping design basis
• Perform piping routing plan and piping arrangement with considering those operability, maintainability, and flexibility
• Perform piping support selection/application with considering those piping flexibility and operability/maintainability
• Perform field engineering at existing plant site for fixing piping routing and tie-in designs
• Interface with other disciplines for design development and fixing piping arrangement and design information
• Prepare design information for other disciplines design such as C & S, Equipment/Tankage, etc
• Review and comment design deliverables from other disciplines such as P&ID, pump outline drawing, equipment drawing, structural and foundation drawing, cable routing drawing, etc to incorporate into the piping designs.
• Conduct and review piping drawings such as GA, Iso, Support, etc and 3-D model reviews
• Conduct and review piping MTO, and prep. BM/BQ – Piping

Requirement:

• A recognized Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years Plant layout design both in conceptual engineering, FEED and detailed engineering for onshore/offshore oil & gas Offsite facilities including bulk storage tank terminals
• Familiar with international Fire Protection codes and standards such as NFPA & IP.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D Autocad software.
• Experience with Industry codes such as API, ASME and Shell DEP & Petronas PTS will be added advantage.
