:Role Description:
The Senior Analyst, Risk Management & Compliance supports Manager, Risk Management & Compliance in the delivery and maintenance of the corporate risk management framework which is established in adherence to ISO31000:2009 Enterprise Risk Management and meeting the organization’s business objectives. The position is also a key support staff in areas of compliance related subjects, assessment of internal controls, development of policies & procedures and acts as an independent advisor.
:Responsibilities:
Risk Management
• To support the implementation of the risk management framework, system, procedures for risk assessment, treatment, monitoring and reporting and reporting for timely production of the risk register.
• To provide advisory services to divisions/departments in risk identification and development of risk management strategies and plans
• To monitor the organization’s Key Risk Indicators and required action plans
• To support the development of regular reviews, gaps identification and advise mitigating actions to ensure compliance on risk management plans
• To assist in executing risk assessment and mitigating actions for key corporate strategies, plans, projects, proposals or partnerships
• To consolidate, analyse and develop regular risk and mitigating action report for Management
• To support the development and implementation of the Incident Management Plans and Business Continuity Management programmes in accordance with Group Governance Framework
Compliance
• To assist in developing and maintaining an effective compliance framework within the organization for reporting and alignment with the business strategies
• To participate in compliance reviews and perform assessment of specific internal controls to provide reasonable assurance that related standards, policies and procedures are complied with
• To identify controls weaknesses and recommend improvement on business processes and internal controls
• To review, update and monitor compliance tracking reports
• To follow-up on mitigating action plans as well as validate the plan performances
• To support the division / departments in the formulation, write-up and revision of policies & procedures
• To create a positive awareness and understanding of compliance and controls through awareness sessions to Management and staff
:Key Competencies:
• Knowledge of risk management principles and ability to apply these principles to business processes
• Experience in analysing internal controls, control assessment concepts and business processes
• Analytical, details oriented and highly adaptable in a dynamic work environment
• Excellent English business writing skills and presentation skills
• Demonstrate effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with ability to relate with staff at different levels
• Proactive, self-motivated and results oriented with influencing skills
:Qualification:
• Candidate must possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics or its equivalent from a leading university
• A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience with 2 years in risk or compliance management responsibilities
• Working knowledge of internationally recognized standards for risk management and internal controls will be advantageous
• Professional certification in risk management, internal auditing or accountancy is desirable
