Actually, those with professional experience and position, are more difficult to get a job than graduates or those whose experience and cert are simpler.. i see this pattern always.. it's because, big companies are reluctant to hire them coz if they hire them, they'd have to pay good salary.. and most big companies prefer to save their moolahs than spend it on new CEO/Manager/Executives, etc... this is the truth.. unless ur lucky enough to land on one, or if u have a cable inside the company, like friend introduces another friend... that's what happened to one of my good (guy) friends as well... and he's like, what.. maybe 45 above now.. luckily he's still single.. but in the end, he eventually got quite a decent job now, able to rent a room in Mont Kiara.. but while he was jobless, he had to work from home like design company's logo, and wash dishes in the restaurant... lucky for him, he's a tough guy.. #:-S
i think it depends on ur job too. say, if one is manager, especially those which is not involved in technical thing, its quite hard to find a job because the managerial position is not always there. but if one is technically expert, say, like pipeline inspector, i dont think things would turn out so hard for him/ her. technical expertise is one of the most available jobs out there i think. there is always job for technical people. the more experience is better because they want expertise in technical jobs especially in the big projects. and new projects always come in. somemore they can become sme. people would search for for them once they become sme.
have u seen any technical expert being jobless for a long period of time? i think its hard to find :-?
