hey guys wanna ask ya i just recently was told by maxis to upgrade my maxis fibre plan, the price is cheaper and then upgrade to 5 g but doesnt seem like getting any better !! When the day technician came and install download speed also like this only not suppose to be 100 meh if thats what they claim...no 100 % also shud have like 80 -90 % right.
The technician say cause im away from router and ask me to see is about 80 but he sitting on the floor right next to router ..walao..n i was sitting at the table which is like less than 5 steps away only...the upload speed when that day ask he say memang like that its cap at 50 ..feel like i got really cheated and then i checked now with the upgrade m stuck on a 2 years contract with them...
apart from all that can anyone who knows more about these stuf tell me is the ping consider good d? and the upload n download .
also if stay in petaling jaya why the server states subang
also with this speed stuff lagging and buffering not moving when watching video

FYI, in realworld all the provided services are fair and equal and not all premises have good reception and good latency, it depends on the end termination far length from the nearest exchange to designated lots of premises for end-users, similar cases on copper lines before which often occurs interferences and hissing sound makes the line to be unstable or drop, even in the case of normal telephone line has issues if such small hissing happens, the same goes to fibre installation and temination tasks .. dont expect everything to be 100% purely fine, have a give and take policy ..

service providers have 1000's of methods and reasons to say on marketing their products and services, as a consumer we are the one have to be smart in selecting and acquiring the better ones "jadilah pengguna yang bijak" ..

regarding the PING-ing server is always best selected (or u can select manually) which I dont really recommend, let it be auto-selected, even if im in Shah Alam whenever a good ping and latency captured the server might be routed to Cyberjaya instead of nearest of mine would be WEBE Kelana Jaya exchange ..

try turning off all attached devices (eg. modem / router) check the cables intact properly and no blockage etc. inside cabinet (even glassed), and reattach the cables properly (not bundled or ikat keras2 with cables .. let it be loose) and to check accurate speed always use direct LAN cables (not through WiFi) .. for highspeed fibre connections use approved CAT-6 cables with 1Gbps laptop / computers ..

moreover, not all technicians of service providers have device like mine below for exchange termination to check the quality of designated services, because we do exchange terminations, we served the best for consumers
