Salam, ak slalu tertanya2x:)...dan brfikir:-?, apa itu "2 cents".
Ye la, ...mcm korang type... kat u all punyepost kat thread, bawah tu mesti tulis, "my 2 cents"...kn...:D

contoh my 2 cent::D

.. thanks for the idea, but no thanks....
bg aku la kan, bahasa yg digunakan ok je...kekadang tu, sesetengah members gunakan dialek diorang...yg kelate, kecek kelate...yg sabah, ber-bah bah kawan...yg nogoghi, hoben jang hoben....ada jugak kekadang cakap mcm org semput....tp aku paham...masih bole paham...

carigold adalah komuniti...komuniti tu tak terhad kepada sesuatu bangsa jerk....kalo bangsa lain nak join, silakan...kalo taknak, pon silakan....tada masalah bg aku...maybe suatu hari nanti, founder akan mintak kita semua guna bahasa yg lebih standard?? maybe...tp untill that time, aku rasa selesa bcakap dalam CG seperti sedia ada...bg aku, tak perlu tunduk pada kehendak bangsa lain kalau nak mereka ada dalam CG ni...sbb bg aku la kan, diorang pon tak penah nak pk kehendak kita yg nak jugak ada dalam komuniti diorang...so, bg aku, 90% adalah bahasa yg mudah difahami, selebihnya memerlukan sedikit sahaja fokus, juga boleh
just my 2 cents

So ak da research, dan da tahu da ngapa

Ini penerangannya dlm bhasa ompute:

My two cents" and its longer version "put my two cents in" is an American idiomatic expression, taken from the original British idiom expression: to put in "my two pennies worth" or "my tuppence worth". It used to preface the tentative stating of one’s opinion. By deprecating the opinion to follow — suggesting its value is only two cents, a very small amount — the user of the phrase hopes to lessen the impact of a possibly contentious statement, showing politeness and humility. However, it is also sometimes used with irony when expressing a strongly felt opinion. The phrase is also used out of habit to preface uncontentious opinions.
For example: “If I may put my two cents in, that hat doesn't do you any favors." (More polite way of saying, for example: That hat is ugly.) An example of the shortened version: "My two cents is that you should sell that stock now."

.. supaya tak trcetus situasi .. ketegangan dan selisihan pendapat kerna pandangan tersebut...

“the user of the phrase hopes to lessen (to reduce) the impact(consequence) of a possibly contentious(creating disagreement) statement, showing politeness and humility(to be polite and humble)”
