This once again lifted expectations of an early rate hike in the euro zone. By contrast, the USD is still suffering from suggestions the Fed won't be hiking its rates for some time to come, especially with weak data such as Tuesday's fall in housing starts. However, a lack of new data on the horizon and another decline in crude oil prices helped the USD to rebound a little in places. The USD is up at Y108.25, while the EUR is up at $1.5523.
