Requirement;

1.Attitude:
-Fast Learner, Good attitude
-Team player
-Punctual - Discipline
-Concise and careful in decision making

2.Technical skill:
-Linux practical knowledge (Unix is added value) + Troubleshooting skill required
-Open source applications / services
-Bash programming /perl / php
-Virtualization implementation knowledge
-Cloud computing knowledge
-Physical / Remote Server administration (remote to ILOM)
-Aware of Linux and windows security concerns

3.Travelling:
Possesses own transport - Car/Motorcyle
Can travel - High possibility

4.Certification:
Diploma in IT/Comp Science
Practical knowledge / Experience in opensource projects

Here is the JD for our level 1:
* Responsible for administration Server (Linux, Wintel, VMWare), Storage (as guided) and Backup infrastructure, development and operations.
* Handle daily Incidents ensuring it is resolved within defined SLA and the RCA are performed and captured for even instances ensuring no recurrences.
* Handle Changes and Tasks on a daily basis and ensure it is managed within the defined lead times.
* Monitor systems to ensure optimal performance and identification of proactive resolutions to potential problem.
* Capable of evaluating open source operating systems, applications and tools to improve existing services and at the same time align with technological advancements.
* Responsible for the maintenance and business support of Mimos end-users relating to supported services.
* Responsible for ensuring all process and support related documents are in place and develop one if it does not exist.
* Responsible for security definition, implementation and compliances for supported systems, data center and governed processes.
* Responsible for maintenance, tracking and documentations updates to ensure continuous operation in alignment with Mimos policy, processes and standards.
* Continuously improve the underlying process and procedures as per ITIL framework and best practices.
* Proactively develop workarounds, solutions and ideas to improve the quality of operation managements.
* Responsible for automation of tasks and processes relating the server, storage and backup support and operations.
* To ensure proper Asset and Configuration management practices are made in place and managed.
* Must be team player who is able to contribute as a team and as well individually.
* Ability to communicate effectively to various teams within Mimos and external associates.
* Required to work closely with software and hardware vendors ensuring all supported systems are up and running.
