Responsibilities:
•To analyse product specifications and generate conceptual design through the application of engineering principles, analysis and empirical method.
•To design and develop schematics for high power DC and AC electrical applications.
•To develop PCB designs and prepare B.O.M.
•To consider thermal requirements of design and come up with cooling strategies.
•To produce prototype as a proof concept of related product.
•To liaise with customer and supplier with regards to project to ensure project runs within the timeline and budget.
Requirements:
•Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Microelectronics from recognized university.
•Experience in design (completed at least 1 cycle of project development process is an added advantage).
•Strong in analytical and engineering fundamentals (able to do design calculations).
•Familiar with Microcontroller, ARM, FPGA’s, etc.
•Able to work in a team as well as independently with less supervision to achieve a common goal.
•Possess the ability to visualize problems during discussions and portray solutions to the team.
•Critical and creative thinking.
•Knowledge in Matlab or other simulation software or compilers or PIC programming.
•Familiarisation with assembly code or firmware programming.
•Good command in English language.
•Positive, friendly attitude and strong in time management skills.
•Fresh graduates who are willing to apply what they learnt in university can apply as well.
