Is it safe to use Debit cards in restaurants?

Is it safe to use Debit cards in restaurants? as I remember there was a time when it was recommended that u shouldn't use ur debit or credit card, when paying at restaurants?

I know that da chip and pin service is used everywhere, now, so when paying after ur meal, does da waiter bring u da chip and pin machine? when ready 2 pay?

if u use VISA debit card, it will consider as a kredit card which means u dont have to enter ur pasword. the waiter will ask u to sign the bill.

bank is not stoopid to let anybody access our banking data.
