Having Fun in Legoland Malaysia, Johor

Because of my ship dry docking in Johor Bahru for 3 weeks, I used that opportunity to visit the new theme park, Legoland Malaysia situated in Nusajaya, Johor Bahru. It was around August 2012 and the VLOG was posted in Youtube around September where many negative comments because I was wrong in certain fact, I was very sorry later.

I was with my 2 friends visiting Legoland on the weekdays. Luckily, not so crowded and the queue up less than 10 minutes most of the times. We arrived around 10AM and it was very hot day. Everyone knows that Legoland is hot!

The entrance ticket is RM140. If you show your mycard, you will get discount for RM30. So the ticket price is RM110. If you with your friends, only 1 person need to show their mycard. So, if you want some discount, bring your Malaysian friends ya!

When you enter Legoland, there are many shops along the street, mostly souvenier shops. Just skip it, and back when you want to go home. Do not forget to take the map. You need to choose, you want to start from left or right, you we just start from left side.

Area 1 is Lego Technic, nothing fancy. Technic Twister is like normal games in funfair which is the spinning cup. Playing this game as my first game in Legoland was a big disaster, ruined my mood because I started to dizzy and feeling not very good. Next is The Project X, it is a rollercoaster, 4 person per ride. So scary and I scream so loud.

Area 2 is Lego Kingdom, which is very big castle and fancy music. Here there is a Dragon Ride also a rollercoaster but many riders. Much more fun, not that scary if compared to The Project X.

Area 3 is called Imiganation. Most of here is for children. And some big lego sculture such as giraffe and dinasours. The 4D cinema also situated in here. But the movies not really interesting like Shrek 4D in Universal Studio Singapore. But OK, maybe still not very familiar with LEGO cartoons. We were having lunch here at Pizza Mania. Yummy. Expensive and small portion. We still hungry.

Area 4 is Land of Adventure. There is Dino Ride, which was closed when we there. If open, I also don’t want to play. Don’t want to wet my shirt. Then, there is building like Egypt with mummy and everything. All made by Lego. Here you can play Lost of Adventure where you in a slow ride and you need to shoot something along the ride.

Area 5 is Miniland. Miniature of the famous landmark in Asia made of by Lego. Indonesia, they choose Kuta, Bali. China, they choose Forbidden City & Great Wall of China, Singapore with their Clark Quay, Brunei with their Kings Palace, Vietnam with Hoi An, Cambodia of course Angkor Wat, India with their Taj Mahal. A lot of miniature from Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur such as KLIA, Putrajaya, KLCC and etc.

Area 6 is Lego City. You can ride a slow train around the Legoland. Actually this should be the first activity in the Legoland. It’s like the introduction of everything happening in here. This is where the beginning and the end. Buy your souveniers in here.!
