You are getting minimal traffic to your site. Just because visitors show up, they are not obligated to click your ads. (In the past 24 hours, how many ads have you clicked on other sites to find out more about purchasing a product or service? 50?...25?...NONE? Your visitors are the same way.)
Many come for your free information. Many do not find the ads on your site interesting. Others are just completely oblivious.
The best thing to do is keep creating original and compelling content to expand the width and depth of your site. Sit down each day and create a 1000-word post focused on the most profitable keywords in your niche. Adsense is a numbers game...and you need to get the numbers to your site.
Forget about making money and focus on making your site the best it can be. Do NOT drive traffic from FaceBook...Do NOT drive traffic from Twitter or YouTube...and especially, do NOT pay for traffic. All of these strategies will get your account terminated. (It happens everyday. Read the Disabled Accounts Forum for a couple of weeks...) Learn all you can about on-site SEO and link-building to elevate your rank in the search engines.
