Normal Reset (*#7780#) : Restores ini files from rom but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc)
Deep Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.
In both case, the phone will ask you a confirmation and you will have to enter a security code (12345 by default).
Files and applications stored on E: drive are not be affected by these sequences.
On newer Series 60 phones (6600/6620/7610), the sequence is slightly different:
power the phone off,
press and keep down the
keeys green/talk + ’3’ + ’*’, - power on the phone.
release the keys when the formatting starts.
kalau yg S60 yg tak boleh masuk terus system, boleh pakai hotkey "tekan green key/talk + '3' + '*' pastu power on phone..
benda ni kau boleh buat kalau phone kau takleh nak reboot (i.e : asyik keluo nokia je pastu tak idup idup ) kalau phone kau ok je jangan nak memandai, naya je habis hilang barang dalam phone kau.
matikan phone tu,pastikan bateri ada 3/4 atau lebih.caj le dalam 2-3 jam kalau nak sure.tekan button call/send,keypad no 3 dan keypad *.jangan lepaskan button button ni dan tekan button on/power phone kau ( kalau tak cukup tangan suruh kawan kau tolong ). jangan lepas sampai phone tu idup dan perkataan 'formatting' keluo kat screen.
good advice : buang dulu mmc kau sebelum buat benda ni. bukan ape, just precaution.lagipun phone akan lebih cepat reboot sebab takyah baca mmc punya dir.
