any advice for Chinese learning

I happened to have a desire to learn Chinese and bump into ShuoCN. The curriculum advisor offered me a couple of free trial lessons beginning from Pinyin. Their teachers were all from top universities in China, showing great passion with local and professional skills. I’m going quite well with my teacher Ms. Hu and considering taking a try. Did anyone have any advice?
