Dear Haq ,
From our records, we have determined that your September Cashout request can be processed as is, as the number is representative of the amount of legit earnings you have accumulated (though not necessarily in the same period). However, we will release this in goodwill only under the following conditions:
- That you prepare a full and detailed explanation of what methods you used to produce the invalid clicks, including programs or actions taken (eg, use of proxy configuration, applications used, online resources).. We would like to have this information in order for us to better equip our click forensics team in future.
- That you do not publish this detailed e-mail or attempt to discredit Advertlets for unfairly penalizing your earnings, whether written or spoken. We reserve the right to either publish any details necessary to disprove any allegations as well as take appropriate legal action.
However, your December Cashout request of RM200 is denied. This is because we have determined with absolute surety, more than 3 of the following items:
- Excessive number of repeated clicks from duplicate IP addresses (Multiple Countries)
- Usage of anonymous proxies to produce duplicate clicks and artificially increase traffic (Multiple Countries including: Malaysia , Singapore , United States , Brunei , Indonesia )
- Excessive number of clicks from same computer profile, different connection methods
- Irregular click & traffic pattern (CTR% and impressions varies wildly from day to day)
- Repeated click pattern fits click forensic profile for “Attempt to increase revenue”
- Click forensic profile confirms same perpetrator for multiple click sets from different countries.
- Automated system used to generate clicks.
- Several clicks determined to be definitely from publisher profile.
We believe this refute any doubts you may have about the capability of our system to detect fraud, and that you can safely assume that we know even more than what is presented here. Multiple warnings have been issued, we regret to inform you that this will be your final warning before your account is permanently banned.
Hence, for now, we have determined the following:
- All earnings before the 15th of December are no longer valid. Earnings after that date until this day so far (27th December 2007) are still valid.
- Unless you immediately cease all fraudulent activity, your account will be banned permanently.
We note that you have had a detailed discussion with our CEO on this matter in past, and upon his instruction, you have been given chances and multiple warnings. This is a collective decision on the authority of our advisors and others in the management team that unless all fraudulent activities cease immediately, we will have no choice but to ban your account permanently, and take any further steps as necessary.
However, you should understand through a detailed analysis of your blog, and records over the past week, we have already released most if not all of the valid amount of your earnings owed to you. However, we have no further obligation to continue taking the trouble to indulge in the labour intense process of auditing your account each month of a massive amount of fraud and refunding it to the advertisers - if fraudulent activity continues.
We regret that it had to reach this stage, however we have given you the benefit of the doubt for too long, and cannot afford to have our faith misplaced. We hope you have an appropriate and fair response on your end to bring this issue to closure or resolution.
Regards,

Ok, korang dah baca kan Advertlets nyer mail which aku received hari nih.
Memang giler Josh nih. Pastu dia dengan selambanya kata earning aku untuk September nih boleh cash out. Sebab apa? Sebab earning nih berjumlah RM 100. Kecik senang bayar.
Earning July dia denied sbb earning RM 300. Apa pun, aku akan buat announcement di blog aku. Aku dah consult dengan lawyer dan dia kata takder masalah untuk publish sbb itu adalah kebebasan aku.
Aku akan pastikan jugak Advertlets real story sampai ke TechCrunch.

Selamat Tinggal Josh Lim
